Due to the current alert level status and Covid situation in Auckland, the Pacific Music Awards will be celebrated in an online awards ceremony on Saturday 11 December, 7pm, screened by Tagata Pasifika on TP+ tpplus.co.nz. This will be pre-recorded in line with Alert Level restrictions and include performances from a number of finalists.
The 2021 awards ceremony celebrates the music released in 2020, providing the opportunity to honour the achievements and success of our current Pacific artists and also pay tribute to legacy and developing artists. Finalists for the 2021 awards were announced in July, confirming 27 artists as finalists from the 13 entered categories.
