Klaksy Visits Papakura Intermediate School
Just a few years ago, Rushil Patel was just like many other kids at school in and around Papakura – learning, studying, messing around with his mates, having fun and occasionally drawing random stuff in his spare time. He had a talent for creating & illustrating cartoon-like characters, and he gradually developed his own style.
Due to his artistic vision and perseverance, he recently emerged from obscurity by designing the cover art for the music release “Locked Out” by S-X and YouTuber KSI at only 19 years of age.
Now known to everyone as “Klaksy”, and with over 30,0000 YouTube subscribers he made creating digital content his full-time job. What a fascinating story we thought to pass on to Island Base mentees, so our team got in touch with Rushil and asked him to run a session as part of our Podcasting programme at Papakura Intermediate School.

The students found Klaksy to be a solid source of creative knowledge and wisdom . And because he lives locally in Papakura, the session was all the more inspirational for them.
